Save your breath for a rainy day, so when you speak we can all get wet
Made the plans for yesterday, brain remembered to forget
Take your place amongst the rest, to grant your wish upon request
Then proceed to squeeze on down the road
Extra ordinary and plain, in the cemetery they lay
Seen them come and seen them go
Trying not to get buried alive, only to just barely survive
This ugly world has got to go
Hello girls and little birds, sound the same in scream to sloth
Clergymen spew random words but we can see through miles of high flown cloth
I'm no better than the rest, finger lickin' chicken breast
So join the club as lego bats explode
Extra ordinary and plain, in the cemetery they lay
Seen them come and seen them go
Trying not to get buried alive, only to just barely survive
This ugly world has got to go
Save your breath for a rainy day, so when you speak we can all get wet
Made the plans for yesterday, brain remembered to forget
I'm no better than the rest, finger lickin' chicken breast
So join the club as lego bats explode
Extra ordinary and plain, in the cemetery they lay
Seen them come and seen them go
Trying not to get buried alive, only to just barely survive
This ugly world has got to go

Another Go

Let's give it another go!
So they met, and they talked
Yeah, they really hit it off
They went out for a while
Yeah, they made each other smile
She felt safe at last
He cleaned up his act
Everything was just fine
But things always change with time
They got in a routine
Sit at home and watch TV
She was tired, he was bored
And the details got ignored
Had a fight, had a talk
And decided to break it off
Then one day she just phoned
And said "Without you, I feel so alone"
So they said, "What the hell, let's try again
This time we'll be the best of friends
Won't do the things that make each other
Mad and go crying to our mothers
Maybe things won't be the same this time
When I'm yours and you're mine
Let's give it another go"
Let's give it another go
So they made up, and they made out
And they forgot what they fought about
They sailed smooth for a week
Then the love boat sprung a leak
They couldn't tell for how long
Because no one knew just what went wrong
She claimed too much stress
He blamed her PMS
So they said, "What the hell, let's try again
This time we'll be the best of friends
Won't do the things that make each other
Mad and go crying to our mothers
Maybe things won't be the same this time
When I'm yours and you're mine
Let's give it another go"
Let's give it another go
Well they say, "The more things change
The more they stay the same"
It's always on and off again
It's the most consistent trend
Sad to say, they grew apart
They couldn't find it in their heart
To work it out, but you never know
They might say, "Let's give it another go!"

I'll buy you flowers, if you remind me. Is it that time already?
I'll see you later, if you can find me. I get impatient when I'm hiding
Read my mind, not my lips, pick up signals I transmit
I think you'll find a helpful tip, think before you throw a fit
Read my mind and everything will be fine
If your heart's broken and our ships sinking, we'll tap into your powers
Words are spoken, without thinking, but you have no business crying
Read my mind, not my lips, pick up signals I transmit
I think you'll find a helpful tip, think before you throw a fit
Read my mind and everything will be fine
You ask questions, demanding answers, that you know already
But when you say that you don't, know what I'm thinking, then I know that you are lying
Read my mind, not my lips, pick up signals I transmit
I think you'll find a helpful tip, think before you throw a fit
Read my mind and everything will be fine

Black Cloud

How did you get that way?
You wake up mad every day
I can always count on you
To make me feel blue
How much raining can you do?
It's time to let the sunshine through
When you're gone, your face I miss
Someone should give you a big fat kiss
My little black cloud
Hanging over me
My little black cloud
Raining in misery
You're like nobody else
Hell, you don't even like yourself
And for everytime, you swore I wish I had a dime
Everything sucks all around
I'll forget it and I'll be there soon
What have I done to you?
Just what it was, I never knew
You're not happy unless you're complaining
It's just not you unless you're rainin'
My little black cloud
Hanging over me
My little black cloud
Raining in misery
My little black cloud
My negativity
My little black cloud
Maybe one day you will see
What it's like to be like me
My little black cloud
Hanging over me
My little black cloud
Raining in misery
My little black cloud
My negativity
My little black cloud
Hanging over me

People say that I'm too sarcastic, maybe there's some truth to that
That’s my way to deal with the drastic and stupid things said so just relax
Truth be told I envy you, and all the great things that you do
I’m just an extra and you’re the star, I’m the can but you’re the caviar
You're the cats pajamas and the slippers too, why would I say it if it wasn’t true
You don’t look fat in that dress, cause don’t they say that more is less
Oh no, oh yeah
People say that I’m somewhat cynical, maybe they’re not too far off
There’s no need to get all hysterical, so pay no mind if I should scoff
When I was young my mom told me, boy you watch too much TV
But if I didn’t where would I be, no sense of humour no self-esteem
Without it I don’t know how I’d cope, how would I get all Dennis Miller's jokes
Without my food I can not grow, so just think if I missed my cooking shows
Oh no, Oh yeah
People say that I'm too sarcastic, maybe there's some truth to that
That’s my way to deal with the drastic and stupid things said so just relax
You’re so, calm and collective
Also, quite introspective
I can only hope to endeavour and I’d be happy to be half as clever as you
Oh no, Oh Yeah
People say that I'm too sarcastic, maybe there's some truth to that
That’s my way to deal with the drastic and stupid things said so just relax
People say that I’m somewhat cynical, maybe they’re not too far off
There’s no need to get all hysterical, so pay no mind if I should scoff
People say that I'm too sarcastic
